Good evening!
We are glad to introduce you to our new band mate and friend.
His name is Michael. He lives in Augsburg and since our first meeting our friendship and ethusiasm have constantly increased. We were looking for a person that is as crazy about music as we are. After we played the first song called "beyond the arms of darkness", we knew that in addition to his cool personality he also has an amazing know-how and perfect skills.
For the musicians among you:

The common rate of "Beyond The Arms Of Darkness" is 190 beats per minute.
Michael played this song over 30 bpm faster. That means about 220 bpm!
For all of us this demonstration was some kind of a proof.
Michael showed us that he has got the ability to be a part of this band.

After solving this occupation stuff we would like to finish this entire topic.
In our opinion it was the very best for all of us.

Please be patient with us concerning editing our profiles and taking some new pictures.
We already arranged a fotoshoot that will take place in the end of February.
Below you guys can see two picture of Michael.

Yet we can tell you that the "eyesore-news-waves" won't stop.

Hey friends and fans!

It's been quite a long time since we've posted the last news blog that contains stuff about the current conditions in Eyesore. First of all we would like to apologize for keeping the following decisive incident a secret but we didn't have any other choice. The occurrence was one of the most difficult phases we have ever experienced in our entire lives.

What had happened:
There has been an inner conflict in our band.
After some awesome years we have become best friends.
We went through rough times but also through success, fun and indescribable happiness that made us enjoy our lives. Of course, everybody of us was happy to be a part of this band. That is why we also had a lot of trust in each other.
Unfortunately, that particular bond has been destroyed.

After we had finished the recordings of "Komodo Dragon", we were spending the rest of our vacation with regenerating from the exhausting work. We visited countries like the USA, Austria, France and England. Between these trips there was a party in Augsburg. Our guitarist Baddl, his girlfriend and our drummer Knittel were there.

Because we don't want to shame people here, we are only going to tell a non-detailed version of the story.

Baddl had to leave the event before his girlfriend, which followed to Knittel hooking up with her. They broke up with each other after that and furthermore, Knittel and her are in a relationship now.

Those unbearable conditions made it impossible to continue the existing project. Unfortunately, Knittel missed every chance that we gave him to make it up to us.

Now I would like you to imagine a situation like this.
Your rehearsal room is at your drummer's place.
How does it feel to see your girlfriend's shoes in front of your drummer's door?
How might it feel to be betrayed by one of your best friends whom you would have done like anything for?
It was horrible, disgusting and awful for all of us.

Back then we were at a point where we had to decide how we would solve this problem and if there would be a future for our band.

The thing is:
We tried a lot.
Even completely ridiculous things like seperate rehearsals. So that Baddl and Knittel were not together.
After four very sad months we didn't manage to bring back the feeling what it's like to be in a happy band.


Furthermore, our lead guitarist Sandro, the heart and soul of Eyesore, joined the popular technical-death-metal band Scars Remain from Nuremberg/Amberg because of the inactive phase we faced.
Not just only due to the fact that the band members are playing their instruments
absolutely virtuosic, also because he wanted to play like the most difficult stuff that exists. In Scars Remain he has the opportunity to prove his skills. But the most decisive reason for joining Scars Remain was, that Sandro made very good friends with them within just only 2 months.
He has been gratefuly included and the time he spent with Scars Remain was completely different to the one he was bearing with Eyesore at this time.

People suggested Sandro to abandon the sinking ship called Eyesore.
And yes. This would have been a decision that we would have had to respect.
But to reveal Sandro's personal opinion and decision, we can tell you that he did NOT follow this advice that would have triggered the very end of Eyesore.

At Christmas Sandro got a life-sized, hand carved Komodo Dragon and a silver necklace that also pictures the creature from the Komodo Isles.
For all of us that creature is more than just an animal.
It was omnipresent during the last years and it is a metaphor for anything we experienced with Eyesore so far.
The time we have spent, the songs we have written, the laughs we have laughed
and the crisis we were going through have changed our lives in a way that is a blessing and also a curse.
We have put so much effort in this band and we all know that the success is only waiting for us.

With these important reasons in mind, we made the decision to continue this AWESOME, CRAZY, AND TOTALLY AMAZING PROJECT!
 

We can't tell you how happy we are currently!
It is like being born for a second time...
Like beginning a new life...

But this decision required the search for a new drummer and with that, a new rehearsal room.
Within a short period of time, we managed to find the treasure!

One thing is for sure:
The change in Eyesore's occupation will be audible
but that's rather an advantage than bad!
And for all of you curious people that are asking "WHO IS THE NEW ONE?":
He will be introduced very very soon!
Yet we can tell you that nobody will be disappointed!


As expected - Sandro remains in Eyesore.
The main focus of him is currently in Scars Remain but that does NOT mean that he is being less determined with Eyesore!

And now thanks for reading that long text. It also would have been possible to make it shorter but we thought that it is important that everybody out there gets to know the powerful feeling, emotion and excitement in our band and - of course - the truth of the story!

We have coped with that dreadful situation! But without the thoughts of your screaming, craziness and of course content smiling and amazed faces after our performances, Eyesore wouldn't have survived!
